Blyclaaf stood in the courtyard of the castle, looking at the great stone walls of his new home. He unclipped the sword from his back and sat it down on the seat. He sat himself on the ground and lay down, his hands behind his back. He watched the clouds in the sky move and form images of shapes that he named. A rabbit. A horse. A troll eating the skull of a dwarf. They were all there. The white fluffy clouds began to move away quickly and gave way to a black abiss above the castle that lead the way to suspicion. It wasn't like any other night. There were no stars, no moon. There were, however, multi-coloured spots throughout the entirety. Blyclaaf watched the multi-coloured night surge across the sky, before coming back to reality with the first raindrop, which hit his eye. He picked up his sword and ran to look for Seth.
(-------------------------------------^------------------------------) ELSEWHERE!!!
The tower stood high above all else. In the tower, standing above all in the room, was the sorcerer. His right hand held the scroll with the spell on it, and his left hand rested over his glass bowl, filled with water, showing images of the castle we all know and love so much. The sorcerer laughed wickedly. "I shall have my revenge, Seth. You wait and see, I shall have my revenge!!!"

Alana was in her room preparing her second trip to the dungeons to defeat the ghoul when a blinding flash of lightning struck the ocean outside her window.
This was not unusual as the catsle was constantly in a storm, but there was something about this one that was not right, it seemed un-natural,more wild than the others
Alana set off for Seths Chamber. She climbed the seemingly endless staircase up to his chamber. She got to the door and was about to push it ope, but she stopped in her tracks, she knew better than this, she had learned her lesson about barging into Seths Chamber before....
She knocked quietly,no answer, she knocked again, a little louder, this time she heard her Master talk
"Come in my child, tell me, what is it that is bothering you enough to come and ask me what my opinion is about the Storm?"
"How did you know (what a stupid question) Why is this storm here upon us? Who is its creator? Do you not know?"
Alana timidly waited for an answer from her Master as he looked out his window, she felt that he was uneasy. But all the same she waited.....

Seth looked almost concerned, his blank expression was just as reliable as the perpetual (well, almost) storm the castle was engulfed in, but it had faltered, just like the storms did, ever so often, and he looked worried, his confident look was gone, replaced by one of foreboding, he had still not turned to face his apprentice, the winds were howling, and the screen that kept rain from pouring in was working overtime, but the wind still slipped through Seth's matter-barrier as it made his hair and cape flow out behind him, with only the moonlight shining in on his front side, Seth looked an imposing figure, but he was not all powerful, Seth alone could not protect the castle from outside threats forever, a lesson that some of the occupants of the castle would learn the hard way
Alana, my apprentice, I do know what has caused this storm, or more... who has caused it... My child, this man... or more... this entity, is an incredible powerful sorcerer... I have clashed with him only once, and I could not destroy him, i could not even defeat him, or drive him away, the only thing I could do was run, he was too strong, I tried for so long to save them, to save... your village... but he had destroyed so much already, by the time I realised I could not win, you were the only one left alive, so I did what I could, I took you in my arms, and escaped... Alana looked shocked, after all these years, this was the first time Seth had ever spoken of what happened to her village, all Seth had told her was that it had been destroyed, and she was the lone survivor, she never knew how it was destroyed, or that Seth had tried to defend her people... she hadn't even thought that that could have been how it all happened, Seth walked a little closer to the gaping hole in the wall he called a window, he let the barrier down, and felt the cold splashes of the icy rain upon his face, it didn't help, but it did clear his mind a little, but Seth had no time to stand here and think, the danger was imminent, but Seth simply didn't know what to do, the sorcerer was so powerful, Seth could not hope to fight him alone, but he didn't want to risk the others in the castle, however, he had little choice, if Seth could not defeat him, then the others in the castle would be attacked soon after, what Seth needed, was a plan, but to formulate a plan, he needed time to think, and he knew just how to get some time, Seth raised his arms, his fingers opened, pointing out into the endless sky of black, suddenly, Alana noticed a bleak outline in the darkness, only a tiny contrast, barely noticeable, it was a skeletal outline of some kind of huge beast, lizard like, the thin, weak outline of a lizard, she thought, as a huge pair of outlined, skeletal wings stretched up into the sky, then they folded out, forming the skeleton of an enormous dragon in the sky, it seemed to fly closer, eventually it was almost right outside of the window, Alana didn't know weather to be scared or not, but Seth seemed perfectly fine, so she figured there must be nothing to fear as the skeleton seemed to solidify, a midnight black skin slowly slipped over the beast, as other details came into focus, Alana was amazed by the power of Seths magic, to summon such a beast required enormous power and concentration, and even more so to control it, the spikes down the dragons back slowly developed, sharp as razors, but smooth as stones in a riverbed, the huge, regal wings gently rolled forwards a little as the beast let out a low sigh-like noise, while uncoiling its neck.It slowly raised its head up to the window, its deep, royal blue eyes stared into Seths piercing eyes, after a moment, it was as though the dragon accepted Seth, and it looked away, past him, its gaze fixed onto Alana now, she recoiled a little, but a reassuring voice was heardDon't be afraid, my apprentice, she has accepted me, and will not hurt you, she is just curious, that is all, come on, she cannot hurt you while I am here, come to her, she is beautiful, isn't she? You're right, she is beautiful...The dragon lowered its head a little as Alana approached , she raised her hand slowly, and placed it on the dragons forehead, between the armoured plates over her eyes, the scales were hard as bone, and smooth as silk, the deepest black, they somehow shimmered in the moonlight, making the entire beast look so magical, so beautiful, Alana had always loved dragons, something about them had always captivated her, but Alana felt like she had seen this dragon before, like a distant memory, long ago, she couldn't quite place it though, it was like waking from a dream, as she tried to remember, the memories seemed to wash away as she tried to think of where she had seen the dragon, but she thought maybe, just maybe, Seth knew...Seth... I think, I may have seen her before, do you know... Oh, what a stupid question...No, it's not stupid at all, you see, your father and I were once like brothers, we were closer than brothers for years, once he met your mother I left the village for several years, to this day I still do not know why I left, but I do know that once I returned, you had been born, and your father... was dieing... before he took his last breath, I promised him that I would watch over you, and protect you as best I could, to show him that you would be protected even without me, I created something, do you know what it was? No, I have no idea, please tell me...I created a baby dragon for you, a black dragon to be exact, dragons grow very quickly, I'm not surprised that this one is already fully grown, I did not create the dragon just now, I called her hear, Black dragons are the most magically blessed dragons of all, they possess great magic abilities, and so she could easily teleport herself here, the are also very intelligent, I have always liked the black ones better than any other, they are more magically gifted than most of their species, almost like me... The dragon opened her eyes suddenly, jerking her head back out of the window, throwing Alana back a little, Seth instantly steadied her, preventing a fall, the dragon looked behind her, out over the ocean, at a small glimmer of light on the horizon, Seth quickly let go of Alana when he realised he still had a steadying arm around her, before he flew over to the edge of the window, Seth stared intently out over the ocean before speaking againI know not what that light is, but I don't think it cannot possibly be a good thing... I will fly out and see what it is, but I cannot fly that far in one attempt, I will fly on Baelkas back, I will return as soon as it is in my ability... Baelka?Seth smiled a little, before explaining...Baelka Is the short name given to this dragon, her proper name is Baelka-Deththor, it means "Guardian dragon who is an eternal friend" spoken in Elfish With these last words, Seth leapt onto Baelkas neck, landing lightly, he looked quite a sight, the powerful sorcerer, sitting atop the black dragon, a symbol of magicka, Alana had a second to think about that, just before the dragon turned around, with heavy footsteps, Seth glanced at Alana once more, then Baelka spread her huge wings before giving them a great flap, and lifting off, flying off toward the light on the horizon just as Seths door burst open again, and Blyclaaf ran in, his sword drawn

Blyclaaf barged through the door, his sword drawn. He looked down at Alana before a great black flyer caught his attention through the window. The grip on his sword released and the large sword fell to the ground with a thud. "The darkness has produced a child!" he said as a chill ran through his body. "Wait, Blyclaaf, that is my dragon." Alana told him, saying it as if she didn't beleive it herself. "Where is Seth?" he asked in a hurried voice as he reached down to pick up his sword. "He is with her." Alana said as she pointed out towards the dragon. Blyclaaf turned around to look out the door. The rain was pouring down harder than it was when he was lying down. "Tell Seth I have gone to get Niska and the littleman." With that, he turned and walked out the door.

The depths of the castle were quiet, the blinding light of the bar glowed, but there was still no sound, only the odd remark for Bones, Complaining about something that doesn’t really matter. A swift cold breeze blew through the bar, Niska looked toward the entry were the cold had come from,
"*Hick* der is nufing for ya to worry about young lady, its just a storm, somfing you will learn to luv in this here Istablishment *Cough*"
Niska thought it was much more, following the wind, a Voice followed.
"A Fowl voice echoes, there is more than one master the wishes to own this castle, a Battle is underway, things will be reviled, lives will be changed, I must be apart of another’s destiny. I must find the man who speaks Drowish, there are thing to be said, he needs to know.”
Niska stroked her sword once more; then placed it in its holster on her side, picked up her staff and made way for the Storm.

"So, he has a dragon." The sorcerer said. His water dish displayed the dragon, and on it's back was his great enemy, Seth. The dark dragon flew through the air over the waters, it great wings flapping every once in a while to keep it airbourne. "I think I mightst be best to be rid of this thing." He closed his eyes and clenched his hand over his water dish. The water inside of it churned and bubbled.
______________AT OUR HAPPY LITTLE STORMY CASTLE________________
The window where Seth left was now being watched through by Blyclaaf, who gave up on his search for the other two. His eyes watched the black dragon fly through the sky. The beautiful beast kept it's machine-gun like flapping up with the sorcerer who would lead them to answers to this storm on it's back. Blyclaaf's eyes soon turned to horror, as from the water rose a giant. The being, made of water, rose about 300 feet from the water level, and began throwing lances at the two who were flying over the water. One by one, the lances found their way through the scales of the dragon. The dragon turned and began heading for home, but never found it's way there. The dragon, and most probably Seth, plumetted into the water, miles away from the castle. Blyclaaf stared at the watery beast for a while, before running out of the room to find Jym.

* Jym could be seen, at his usual post, his whole body consumed by the water that filled the fountain. Blyclaff's search for Jym immediatly led him to this place, this fountain, where he had seen Jym busying himself with sitting on the fountain and riding the shoot of water into the sky, before splashing down in the waters below.
Blyclaff holstered his sword, and threw his face over the edge of the fountain, squinting his eyes in a faltered attempt to find the little blue frog. (Blue because he was in the the water) All of a sudden a flurry of water hit the surface, and a fair splash came, startling Blyclaff, causing him to take a step back and flinch.
Jym landed with an almighty thud on top of Blyclaff, causing them both to crash to the ground in a mighty heap. Then standing up, Blyclaff began explaining everything that had happened, and why he had come running. Once this was over, he looked down at Jym, and gave him a strange look.
I know, I know, I dont like to swim with my armour on, I assume thou woulst like to accompany me whilst I get my armour, my equipment, and we shall investigate further
With that, they both went back to Jyms room, and gathered his equipment. Before Blyclaff took Jym to see what had happened to Seth. Moments after seeing what was becoming of Seth, Jym and Blyclaff ran down to the beach, hoping they might be able to swim out to save Seth, but the storm had caused the waves to become too strong for even Jym to leave shore. Moments later, they heard a voice call from behind them at a distance.
OOC: Sorry its no good, I'm really really tired tonight

Blyclaaf's voice was shaky as he replied to the new man's question. "No, this is not the norm for this castle. You should start to panic. Our beloved sorcerer has been swept away by the waves and is no where to be seen." He left the new man and the frog to their businesses and went back within the castle walls. --------ONCE AGAIN RETURNING TO ELSEWHERE------ ----- "Ahah!!! His dragon sleeps at the bottom of the blue-green depths. This is perfect!!" The sorcerer laughed wickedly as he viewed the entire ordeal as it was projected in his water dish. "Now, what shall I do with the others at the castle?" he asked himself openly, even though he already knew the answer. "Commandant!!" he yelled into his waterdish. The image in the water changed from that of the castle to a barracks. "Hail, lord Yarha-nage!" an Orcish officer replied to the call of his master. "Prepare your troops for instant movement. Prepare the Gate of Pluyoth for use. "Hail, lord Yarha-nage!" the Orc said, before going off to rally his troops. "Now" Yarha-nage said to himself. "Time to deal with Seth once and for all" His water dish returned to the castle, and zoomed into the part of the water where Seth was last seen. The water showed where Seth now was sinking towards the cold depths of the ocean. He held his hand over the water dish and it bubble and frothed away. Upon looking back into the dish, Seth was gone. Seth was, infact, laying behind Yarha-nage. "Now I shall have my fun!" he said, half-laughing. ____________SOMEWHERE ELSE AGAIN______________ "Go you stupid beasts!!" cried the Troll General, the commander of Lord Yarha-nage's army. The armies began to move through the Gate of Pluyoth. The Gate of Pluyoth was a teleportation device that allowed the being going through to teleport to anywhere the owner of the Gate wished. More and more of them walked through the Gate, oozing away within it's blue gel-like film. ______________BACK AT OUR HAPPY LITTLE STORMY CASTLE__________ The rain had stopped. Blyclaaf walked around the top of the castle walls, watching out at sea to see whether he could spot the owner of the very building he now called home. He looked up at the sky, the black, polka dotted abbiss still remained. He sat and stared at it for a while, wondering what it was. Then the rain started again. But, it was not conventional rain. It rained Orcs, Trolls and other beasts. Blyclaaf unsheathed his sword from his back and began to run down the stairs, while yelling; "To arms, to arms, by brothers. We have found our enemy!!"

Niska Exited the castle near the frogs fountain, she was shocked at the rain of orcs and beasts, she drew her sword and readied her staff.
She spoke no words, she closed her eyes for just on second, then when they aging opened, the cat like slits focused on the closest enemy charring for her, with one motion as constant as a stream of water, she stuck the orc once, with her staff then grabbed its head pulling it back its neck was reviled as the head and chest armour separated, then using her sword, one swift slice and the body dropped, the head still in Niska's hands, blood running out of its veins all over the ground and Niska’s Boots.
A small smirk replaced her look of concentration….. She set off after more kills.

Post by Seth on Feb 25, 2005 22:33:51 GMT 10
OOC note: This post is meant to show what happened to Seth during those "missing hours", hope there's no confusion. IC: The great dragon plunged into the sea, a gigantic wave of water surged up from the point that the beast parted the water as it fell, Seth was thrown from Its back like a rag doll, instantly knocked unconscious, his limp body sank beneath the waves as the startled cries of Alana and Jym were drowned out by the thunderous crashing of waves and the thrashing of Baelka, trying to surface in vain, Seth was drifting in and out of consciousness, he could hear the huge noises of the waves and the thunder, the distant screaming of his friends seemed like a dream, as his eyes shut again, this time however, Seth would not wake up for several hours...Several hours have passed since the horrific downing of Baelka, Seth no longer knows what is happening at the castle, nor what has become of the mighty dragon, for he is no longer near enough to either of them... Seth forced his eyes open a little, he felt so weak, drained of his strength, his eyes snapped open as soon as he realised that all of his armour and weaponry was gone, and he was in a large, pitch black room, Seth was encased in some sort of a magical force field, there was no way for him to get out, it was a magic far more powerful than his own, and suddenly, he realised where he must be, he was in the eye of the storm, and there, standing in front of him, was the sorcerer, holding his scroll in one hand, and Seths' Scythe in his other, Seth instantly thought "I want my Scythe back..."Oh, you want your Scythe back, do you? Well Seth, you don't seem to be in a position to be making demands... And what good would it do you anyway? Your friends are as good as dead, my commandant will see to that...Damn you, you coward! If you were really so confident of your power, you wouldn't have an unarmed man in such a helpless position, you are clearly weak, and you know it... If Seth knew one thing about sorcerers, it was that they were always over-confident of their power, so he knew this strategy would work, what Seth hadn't thought of however, was what he planned to do once he was free, there were no visible exits in the room, not even any visible walls, and Seth could not sense anything in the vicinity, it was like they were suspended in nothing, like none of this place existed, it was pitch black, the dim blue glow of Seths "Cage" illuminated a small portion of the area, but there was nothing to reflect the light, all that was visible was the sorcerers face, twisted into a horrific look of anger, Seths plan had worked, The sorcerer let down the force field, and Seth dropped to the um... ground, with a small thud, he still felt weak, but he knew that he had to escape somehow, there was no way Seth could handle the sorcerer alone, he had to get back to the castle, Seth formulated a makeshift plan, he would make an attempt at his Scythe, and if he could snatch it back, all the better, but if he couldn't, Seth planned to use it as a mere distraction, then trip the sorcerer, and run, it was a crude plan, but it was all Seth had to work with at that pointSeth stared at Yarha-nage for a moment, then he made a lightning-fast move, and snatched his Scythe off the madman, the evil wizard was stunned for just long enough for Seth to slide his leg under his foes foot, tripping him up, Seth then took off like a shot, using all of his strength, Seth ran as fast as he could, it didn't matter which direction he travelled in, he didn't seem to see any difference in the scenery, but he could hear his enemies insane cries behind him as the madman cast a series of spells at Seth, none of them managed to hit their mark as Seth realised how hard it was to Run with a Scythe in his hands, he figured he was going to die here anyway, so Seth stopped dead in his tracks and turned on the spot, raising his Scythe, Seth prepared himself, to dieYarha Moved closer to Seth as he clutched his Scythe harder, preparing to fight if need be, Seth knew that he must get back to his friends, he must not let the castle be taken, no matter the cost, Yarha drew ever nearer, a ball of fire began to form in his hand now, the flames licked his fingers, but the sorcerer didn't even feel the heat on his hand as he launched the ball at Seth, meeting a second fireball, of equal intensity, launched from one of Seths gloved hands, they cancelled each other out perfectly, as did the next three fireballs that each Warlock launched, Seth knew he could not continue this for much longer, he was not powerful enough, so Seth made another plan, remembering a common form of training that Seth used, he used all of his concentration to summon up a mirrored version of himself, to confuse the wizard, as the fake Seth attacked the sorcerer, Seth made good his escape, opting to run rather than fight, Seth knew his own limitations, and he also knew that he could help more against a thousand orcs, than one sorcerer of Yarhas power, Seth continued to run, he seemed to know which way to run now, and as he continued on, the sky seemed to lighten a little, it continued to grow brighter until Seths boots dug into the ground, grinding him to a sudden halt, right in front of a sheer cliff, over the edge of the cliff Seth saw a huge and seemingly endless march of orcs, trolls, and other war beasts of varying size and power, all heading for a huge gate, a teleporter, it was strange, the teleported seemed to have an image of Seths beloved castle, overrun by hordes of beasts, more dropping by the second, Seth had to get down there and help in any way he couldSeth dropped silently into the horde of orcs, he did not go unnoticed for more than a fraction of a second though, as panicked cries of orcs rose up amongst the ranks, the ones on the outskirts of the march did not notice their brethren flying in all directions as Seth unleased his wrath upon the heart of the orcs, their cries continued and their weapons flurried in a feeble attempt to stop the powerful warlock, he might not have been any match for Yarha, but these orcs were nothing, as Seth gave another wide swing of his Scythe, many more of the bumbling brutes lost their lives, and heads, spears flew at Seth, only to be blocked by Seths fiery rage as he continued to decimate the ranks, cutting a huge swath from the Orcish lines, Seth saw his opportunity to run for the gateway, he took it, slicing down more of the foolish creatures as he ran, with one final leap Seth plunged through the gateway, and instantly the scenery around him changed, he was back at the castle, but not how he left it, it was overrun by the constant swarm of Orcish minions, but Seth had no time to stop and smell the orc-blood, he glided into the window in his own office, he was not hiding, but preparing, his battle-armour glinted in the moonlight, ghastly black, like solidified shadow, it covered his body like a protective shell, as Seths cape seemed to magically form behind him, Seth quickly opened his desk, revealing a small treasure trove of weaponry, Seth grabbed a short, Elvin blade and stuck it into the sheath on his leg, incase it was needed, next he grabbed the most appealing looking weapons there, a pair of black gloves, they had long, claw like, metal extensions between the fingers, like a great set of beast-like claws on each hand, Seth now looked truly ready for battle, His midnight-black armour shimmered as his purple cape billowed behind him, clutching his Reaper-like Scythe, the metal claws were unmoving as Seth hovered back out of his office windowJym was amongst the fighting now, the orcs were un-ceasing, but suddenly, Jym noticed a different figure descending into the battle, a long cape and Scythe were all that could be seen, no light could reach the figures face, he descended closer to the battle, like the grizzly reaper approaching to claim the souls of the dead, the shadowy figure finally floated into the light enough to tell that, It was Seth...

Blyclaaf threw himself from the stairs into the pile of Orc-kind who had fallen through the black abiss onto the muggy ground of the castle court. As he fell, he swung his sword downwards, and cut into the pile of stinky Orc soldiers. Arms, legs and head rolled away from the pile as Blyclaaf lifted his sword to fight those Orcs who were now standing. An Orc lunged towards him with his sword ready to pierce Blyclaaf in the lung. Blyclaaf lifted his massive sword and blocked the Orcs tiny attack. Bly kicked the beast back and dropped his sword down on it's head. The sword crushed the Orcs head into itself, leaving only parts of the skull intact. The beast dropped back onto the ground. Blyclaaf's eyes glowed blue, and his body size increased slightly. From his mouth rang out words of prayer, one to call upon the gods to grant him the strength he needed to defend himself. The was the Berserker. He ran into the formations of Orcs, letting their blood run free on the muddy ground. His speed and his strength were unmatchable by the Orcs. His attention swayed away from the battle at hand, and he gazed towards the sky. There he noticed a dark figure high above him. "Our man returns." he said to himself, before he went back to killing Orcs.

As Gildor was running toward the battle feild he lifted his staff above his head, swinging it as if it where a bat hittin an enimie ork over the head dropping him to the ground instantly, while the filthy pig looking creature was lieing on the ground Gildor stood over the animal lifting his staff into the air as if he where to stabb him, but Gildor was using a staff, instead of cutting through the skin, it tore through it, leaving the creature on the ground to suffer in pain, while standing in the pool of blood left by the creature, Gildor picked up the creatures bow, This wasent any ordaniry bow, it was just a little smaller then Gildor, and it had Rollers on each end, before using the bow, Gildor gave it a quick swift swing to flick the blood off of it. Gildor ready himself for another fearce battle, drawing the bow with a unusal arrow, This arrow had three spear heads on it, each one getting bigger. He aimed at another creature an fired, The arrow sworing through the air hit the creature through the left eye, goin stright through him, then falling on the ground. Gildor when over to inspect the body to see, a creature with nearly no head, because the arrow had gone all the way through, it had made a whole in his head the size of Gildors fist. This wasent the end Gildor thought to himself. He started walking toward the battle feild for more Orks to kill.

The dark figure dropped to the ground, amongst the horde of orc kind, as soon as his feet touched the ground Seth swung his huge scythe out in front of him, the curved blade claiming the heads of many orcs that were standing just feet from Seth as he thrust out his arm, opening his fingers and letting a bolt of lightning fly from his palm, striking an orc in the chest and instantly sending him to the ground in massive respiratory arrest, the orc writhed and twitched as it spat blood, thanks to the huge shock that the bolt had delivered, at the same moment Seth leapt up and swung his scythe again, cleaving one orc in half, it's blood spurting into the air before the two halves dropped to the floor, dead. Seth flew over the mindless rabble of orc kind for a moment, picking and choosing his next victims before setting down and thrusting his fist out, snaring an orc on his claw-like glove, he lifted the creature over his head and then slammed it into the ground with insane force, its head split open and smashed like a raw egg across the ground before Seth tore his bladed hand away from the dead orc and turned, kicking another orc in the stomach before driving his short sword through the vile things neck, killing it instantly as the nerves were severed, Seth stood up now, letting the beast fall to the ground and die, his gloved hand was bathed in orc blood now, spatters of blood were all over him as Seth realised the carnage that was happening around him, the orcs attacking his friends, destroying his castle, Seth had had enough as another orc jumped at him, Seth dodged to the side, letting it land in front of him before swinging his scythe in a great overarm arch before driving it home, into the spine of the creature, letting its blood weep across its back, the orc spine was severed instantly as the blade slid through it, the fatty tissue slipped aside to allow the sharpened blade easy passage, it let out a shrill scream of agony and its blood spattered up on either side of the wound, the orc was dead in moments, it dropped to the ground with the scythe still in its back, blood flowing freely as it coagulated, Seth decided to leave the scythe there for now, freeing up both hands for spell casting
