*Meanwhile, somewhere in the distant future...* It was quiet in the hangar of the Delta wings 14th cruiser, as the many combat squads suited up, prepping their weapons and vehicles for the drop, men were running in all directions, making the final checks of equipment, Lance turned his head slowly, holding his combat helmet under one arm, he watched the bay doors opening slowly, the energy fields were now the only things between the marines, and the vacuum of space, he watched his team checking there T82s, the two jeeps were in fine, working order as Hoffman and Jefferson took up the drivers positions, a few flurried shouts and the two jeeps were filled with troops, Gideon slowly walked along the side of one of the vehicles, he spoke a few words to Hoffman, with a nod, Hoffman and Jefferson moved their vehicles onto the pickup area, one of the large drop ships drifted toward them, the Marines all ducked down a little, as the powerful engines passed over them, lining up the bay doors as they opened slowly, there was enough space for the two T82s to fit, they wouldn't be like that for long, so comfort was not an issue, both of the jeeps backed in, one after the other, and finally Lance made his way up the ramp, signaling to Royce, who came running quickly, Lance took another slow look around the hangar, there used to be many more than this, but the fighting had raged for so long, Humans had suffered so many defeats, there was only a few hundred left on the ship, and most of them were running around the hangar, preparing for another battle, Lance wondered for a moment, how many would return this time as he slowly walked backward into the bay of the drop ship, the door closed, the last words Lance would hear from the intercom, " All fighters, prepare for escort run" echoed through the hangar until the last inch of the bay door was closed and sealed. A voice sounded in Lances radio " Everything set back there Sergeant?" Lance turned to glance over the troops behind him, checked his rifle and quickly looked at the door, everything was set as he sent a transmission back " Check, all set, let's go" " Rodger that, all systems on line, strap yourselves in boys" with that, the iron braces shot out of the ground, securing the vehicles where they were as the drop ship shot forward into the abyss of space, the sudden lunge sent Royce tumbling into the bay door, he hit it with a thud, met by a few snickers from the other marines, before Lances voice sounded " Cut it out, this is his first drop" Lance hadn't moved at all when the ship had taken off, neither had anyone else, they were all used to the sudden jolt, but Royce was a rookie, he didn't even have time to complete basic training, so they stuck him with Lance, hoping that the Sergeant could help him out a bit, another transmission sounded throughout the bay " Hold on, we're in for some chop..." Royce looked at Lance quickly "ch... chop?" with that, the entire ship began to shake violently as they entered the planets atmosphere, this was the part that always messed the rookies up, Royce fell to his knees, his shoulder smashed into the bay door as the rookie clutched his arm and let out a slight cry of pain, Lance still had not moved, he looked like stone, just staring at the blank wall, his rifle resting idly by his side as he waited for the moment that the big door would open, and hell would literally meet them as the left the ship, that's if the ship even made it to the ground.... " Sergeant, there are too many of them, there wont be time to safely drop the T82s, I'll have to drop them off at another location, I'll radio in when I find a good spot. Prepare your men to jump 'coz I'm dropping you guys right on top of those bastards!" with that, the bay door began to open, the ship slowed down rapidly, and Lance slipped his helmet on, this was the only way to drop troops on the damned, drop 'em hard and fast, don't give anyone time to think about what's happening, this probably wasn't the best way to do it though, as the 41st combat squad was about to find out, four men clambered out of each jeep, leaving Hoffman and Jefferson behind, to be dropped in a safer place, Lance signaled with one arm, as he watched the men jog toward the opening door, each jumping one after the other into god knows what, the sun was blindingly bright as Lance grabbed Royce by the scruff, and tossed him out of the bay door, before jumping himself, it was always a rush, feeling the steel disappear from beneath him, and pointing his rifle, taking out anything in his way, watching the vile creatures scatter, screaming as his Marines tore them up, before he even knew it, the drop ship was gone, no doubt circling above them, looking for a better drop off point, the ground met him a little hard this time, his knees cushioned his fall a little, but there was no time to think about the pain as he rolled to one side, blasting some of the creatures out of his path, Lance had done this kind of thing a hundred times, but something was different this time, the beasts were more vicious, his mind was foggy, he couldn't think straight, the noise of shots sounding, men shouting, explosions and cries from both human and beast, the blinding dust, flying pieces of earth shot all around him, this was combat at the front. Gideon hadn't let off his trigger since he landed, the squad was setting up a small defensive perimeter, as always, they had carved out a small notch in the enemy, sooner or later the damned would let up, and his men would wait for nightfall, before advancing on the objecting, night fighting was what his squad was best at, a few cries, " Grenade!" and a loud explosion, coupled with a shower of flesh, and tortured cries as more damned were torn apart in the blast, the fighting raged for several minuets, before finally subsiding, Lance slowly stood up, a few bursts still sounded as the last couple of creatures were mopped up, Gideon finally let his rifle down, resting it by his side, he surveyed the area, a small, almost circular spot, surrounded by rock walls on most sides, just two small paths leading in, this would be an ideal spot to defend until nightfall, he gave the signals, glancing around " Anyone hurt?" A few marines looked around, some were resting on the rock walls, one or two had sat down, helmets off, they had earned at least a small rest, but no one was hurt, Royce was looking a little worse for wear, he was shaking a little, but Lance had no time to worry about that, he pointed out four or five marines, " You're taking the first shift, watch those paths, don't let those things approach, I'm going to scout the area a little, see if I can find us a way to the target area, radio me when we find out where those T82s are, we'll need them sooner or later" " Yes, sir!" " Royce, Jankins, you're with me, keep quiet, and stick close" Lance slowly turned, looking at the rock wall in front of him, then around the area one more time, before making his way to one of the paths, the one leading uphill, as Royce trotted after him, struggling with the strap of his gun, Jankins strode after Royce, keeping an even formation and muttering something about rookies, it wasn't long before they came to a lowered section of rock, Lance signaled for the other two to drop as he crouched down, walking toward the low section slowly and quietly, his rifle held at half height, ready to fire if need be, a sound made Lance freeze, it had been quiet, but enough to make Jankins jump, and aim his rifle around a bit at the cliff above them, checking for anything that could pose a threat, after a few more silent seconds, Lance moved again, he slowly edged toward the dip in the rocks, looking over the wall cautiously, he spotted the objective, it was on the other side of a large clearing, damned were swarming everywhere, it was a terrifying sight, it completely consumed Lance for a few moments before Royce's' voice drew his attention from the sight " s... sir, I think I heard something, over by those rocks..." Jankins was the first to respond " Lance, want me to investigate?" " yeah, Jankins, check the area for me, return in a few minuets, we'll head back to the post when you get back" Jankins began moving straight away, carefully sneaking around the rocks, his rifle held ready to fight at any moment, it wasn't long before he was gone, and Royce and Lance were left standing alone, Royce was still shaking a little, Lance looked as cold as ever, staring at the rocks around them, weighing up the odds of survival no doubt, Royce was feeling a little weird, next to his unmoving CO, the odd moment lasted for several more seconds before Jankins slowly came creeping back, he signaled for the other two to be quiet, and motioned Lance toward himself, Lance slowly moved closer to Jankins, keeping his head down as he went, his rifle ready for any sign of a fight, finger on the trigger, he slowly moved even closer, stones and dirt crunched under his boots, making the atmosphere tense, there was a slight noise of leather sliding against leather, as Lances finger squeezed the trigger a little tighter, he held the rifle up to his face, still moving forward slowly, Jankins sidestepped, signaling Lance forward more, Jankins slowly moved over the mound of rocks, quietly as possible, Lance did the same, still being as quiet as possible, the tension could have been cut with a knife, Royce was panicking now, he had no idea what could be on the other side of that hill as the other two disappeared over the rocks, they both looked ready for a fight, but Lance would never find that particular fight... As the Sergeant slowly edged his way over the hill the area around him began to waver, like he was passing out, before he knew it everything was dark, purple and blue spirals twirled around him as he fell through time, it felt like he had left his stomach a mile behind him, he kept falling and falling, before eventually, a thud, and darkness, accompanied by frenzied cries and hundreds of roars of varying types, as Lance looked up he spotted a huge pair of old Oak doors, right as he looked at them, the giant doors crumbled and splintered, crashing to the ground, they revealed an awesome sight, a huge battle, hundreds of warriors were fighting, but they were not human... Lance had never seen these things before, but before he could even gain his bearings, several of the creatures rounded on him, their faces were twisted, features obscured, there was really no description for them, Lance stared in horror for a moment, before slowly raising his rifle, one of the things leaped at him, only to be cut out of the air by a burst of fire from the barrel of the Sergeants weapon, the others paused of a moment, before also leaping at him, Lance shot one down with ease, he ducked down and let a second fly over him, thrusting his leg up he kicked a third just below its chin before jumping at a small wall that was still standing, he kicked off the wall, spinning his hips slightly his boot connected with the face of a fourth creature, spinning its neck at a sickening angle, as he landed, Lance grabbed his combat knife, thrusting it into the stomach of the creature that had jumped over him, he stood for a moment, as the last gasps of life escaped his last opponent, before letting it fall to the ground, Lance sheathed his knife for now, something was telling Lance to continue on, there were half destroyed walls all around him, Lance could see the huge battle through the gaping hold in the wall behind the spot on which two oak doors once stood, as Lance ran toward the wall, part of the roof above it crumbled, sealing Lances access to the battle, he knew he was needed there, but had to find a way around... He turned left, to see a long, curving hall way, it was dark, the same was to be seen on the other side, without taking time to consider the options, Lance ran right, as fast as he could, the cold stoned flew past him as he ran full pace down the hall, there were some crumbling parts of the wall now and then, but nothing large enough for Lance to make it through, "there must be some way into the courtyard" he thought to himself, "probably another set of big double doors... where are they?" after a few more minuets of running he came to another set of double doors, they had large windows on either side, and Lance could see the battle raging on the other side, but the doors were far too heavy to open by himself, instead, Lance backed up, placing his back against the wall he looked at one of the large windows, and without a second thought, he lurched forward, taking a few steps before he kicked off the ground, launching his body at the window Lance raised his arms to cover his head as the glass shattered into a thousand pieces, slivers of silvery glass rained to the floor as Gideon landed on the ground in the courtyard, he rolled for a second, before climbing to his feet to survey the area, the battle was subsiding... The ground was soggy with rain and blood, a strange colored substance was falling from the sky now, Lance spotted a small group of weary looking Warriors, they were closer to human than anything else here, and something told Lance that these guys were on his side, after a second of contemplation, Lance began to run toward them, thinking to himself "What the hell have I gotten into?..." *Gorge Looked up at his newly found friend.
[glow=green,2,300]"Well for starters we should find the others. Then I think it would be a good Ide......" [/glow]
*Gorge was cut off by a large smashing sound. He surveyed the area but he couldn't see anything Gorge jumped and hovered for a minute before he saw a glimmer of silvery sparks and then a dark glossy object.
[glow=red,2,300]"Well what do you see? GORGE?!"[/glow]
*Gorged wanted to See more but he started to fall slightly. As he did he saw a object propel in the direction of the Bronze ooze"
[glow=red,2,300]"Theres...Theres something over there."[/glow]
*Gorge pointed in the direction in which he saw the glossy shadow. The mighty warrior was fatigued and tired but not out of courage or might. He sat for a minute and thought, What would his father do, in times of peril he was The his rock he was the one he could turn to but his father wasn't with him and the only person he had was one of the toughest guys he had ever met but he didn't know him, he didn't know anything about him. The warrior looked up at him and a smile grew upon his face he was happy he had a new friend , his only Friend. Gorge wasn't upset that he was the only one he had he was happy because he actually had someone to rely on, someone to catch him if he fell or slipped and Gorge wanted to make sure that Bly new it. Gorge looked up at the giant. With a plan in his head and a friend in his heart, anyone who new Gorge could have told you that this is all he needed to continue and it gave him the strength to fight for not only his life but anyone he could.
[glow=red,2,300]"You are the only person that is here and if that means that i have to carry you out of danger I will. you are my Friend and i hope you feel the same. I have a plan, however its not what you might think.Follow me."[/glow]
*Gorge started to walk away from the battle field climbing up a ledge into a breach in the castle wall. Gorge jumped up and turned to look at Bly, for a smart man he didn't understand directions very well. Gorge held out his Gnoree...
[glow=red,2,300]"common we have a job to do. I saw an object jump through a window and I'm going after it. I don't care what you do just don't die on me!!!! "[/glow]
*The mighty warrior Looked at Bly...
[glow=green,2,300]"how do you feel about an ambush?? 2 on 1 are you with me??"[/glow]
*With this Gorge stared up at the Giant. He waited for an answer but he didn't get one. Gorge thought for a minute, he looked at the giant and muttered to himself.....
[glow=green,2,300]"I can't wait he will be gone soon, don't get killed, PLEASE!!"[/glow]
*The Mighty warrior lept through the breach and began to run, his heart pounding and fingers tightly gripped around his Gnoree. He turned a corner then another but as he did he was brought to the ground, Gorge kicked the orc off him and smacked him with the blunt end of his weapon. Gorge grabbed his Huree and cut through the armor of his attacker, Gorge sung his Gnoree and cut off the orcs head.
Gorge lifted himself fully off the ground and ran out a gapping hole in the wall. He jumped over some dead bodies which had blood dripping down there cheeks. Gorge ran as fast as he could straight out on to the battle field. As he stood there he could see the huge amount of dead bodies and the pools of blood. Gorge couldn't see the guy he was chasing but he could see the huge bronze monster, bu thats not what caught his attention. The thing that caught his attention was the huge sword the monster was about to swing. The warrior instincts kicked in, Gorge put his Huree back in it's sheath and he swung his Gnoree on his back. Gorge started to sprint closer to the monster and as he ran he picked up two of the orc swords that were laying around.
As Gorge got closer he felt the emence heat from the monster. Gorge watched as the sword came swinging down, Gorge jumped an extremely large group of orcs and headed to where he thought the the sword was headed but he was wrong. Gorge could see Bly standing right in the shadow of the sword. Gorge screamed at Bly but he didn't here him creaming. The mighty warrior Jumped into the air and landed on a pile of ruble. He looked up at the giant and thought for a minute. Gorge lept from the platform and as he did he through one of the swords he was holding, He watched it fly through the air and hit the Giant bronze monster in the hand. The monster flintched and then with a groan he changed the direction that his sword was swinging and before Gorge could get out of it's way he could feel himself lift off the ground and fly through the air. Gorge felt the wind on his face as he was flung out of the courtyard and into the air. Gorge tied to drop but the force of the throw was to strong. As Gorge flew he watched the island disappear and then all he could was black.

OOC: Sorry if there are minor mistakes in this, but it is a very long post, and I didn't have the time, patience or energy to totally proof-read it.
IC:
The beast that Seth had summoned mere moments before was slain quickly and swiftly by some kind of arcane magic, cast from the darkest pages of an ancient spell book, memorized by Yarha-Nage long ago, the creature cried in a muffled pain as it fell to the ground, dissolving as a painful effect of the black sorcerers spell, A look of slight panic streaked across Seth's otherwise calm visage, it was gone as fast as it had appeared, leaving no trace of a lapse in the warlocks confidence as Seth began anew his onslaught of Yarha Nage, swinging the great flaming blades in two arches toward his enemy, neither found their mark however, as the amazingly dexterous sorcerer dodged both blades before out of nowhere he formed his own blade, of the blackest steel, it swung in a great underarm arch, not giving Seth enough time to dodge, the blade struck his black amour, but then, something odd happened, instead of bouncing back, or even cutting through the plate, everything seemed to freeze, for a split second as two forms of magic touched, before both men were thrown backward, in a violent burst of energy that emanated like a shock wave from the point of impact, Seth was the first to regain his feet, standing up again, like a man possessed, his blades were still burning crimson as he staggered back to a standing position, Yarha Nage slowly raised himself like a creature from the grave, he looked enraged after being thrown across the floor like that, as he hovered a little above the floor, before flying straight at Seth, his midnight blade raised above his head, as he swung it, Seth blocked him, with lighting speed, before taking his own swipe, hitting home, the blade did not cut however, it simply burned, Yarha Nage screamed in agony as the fire burned inside of him, scolding his organs, he was in such intense pain, the sorcerer dropped to his knees, clutching an arm across his stomach, and the black band left hidden under his robe, burned into the sorcerers stomach by Seth's fiery blade, Yarha-Nage slowly raised up, struggling to move his arm from the burn, he clenched his teeth for a few moments until the burning went away, Seth slowly paced toward his wounded enemy, a look of satisfaction on his face, like a wolf closing for the kill on a wounded foe...
But as Seth came closer, raising his flaming blades high above his head, Yarha-Nage made his move, fast as lightning, he swung his black blade to the side, and in a horizontal swipe, the blade dug into Seth's side, but slowed and stopped, Yarha-Nage could not drive it further into Seth, but it had done its damage, Seth's shocked face seemed to harden, it could not be described, his flesh turned a midnight black, the same color as Yarha-Nages sword, the evil sorcerer did not seem to know what was happening, Seth's body was completely black now, like a silhouette with white lines left to outline the details of his features, after a few seconds the stone-like figure began to crack, lines appeared all over his body, and after a moment, the crystal shattered all over the ground, into a million fragments, and Seth was no more... Yarha-Nage stood up slowly and shakily, but suddenly, with a sickening sound a metal spike erupted out of Yarha-Nages chest, and with a spray of blood he fell to his knees, and standing behind him was Seth, grasping his small blade, pushed through his foe, Seth looked almost shocked that it had worked, and ancient form of astro projection, he had managed to leave an exact copy of himself in front of Yarha-Nage, even though Seth had reappeared a moment before that, it was almost over at last, Seth placed one foot on Yarha-Nages back, and wretched his blade from the sorcorer...
... So that image really was convincing enough, you thought I was dead and gone... Unfortunately it only takes one mistake to cost you your life...
Yarha-Nage spun around as he fell, his arms outstretched, his strength had left him, and the fight was over, but Seth wasn't done, he glared at his bleeding and weakened foe, and as he did, two spikes of black crystal materialized on either side of Seth's head, they flew straight at Yarha-nage, and with two spurts of crimson blood, and a cry of pain, Yarha-Nage was pinned to the ground and unable to move, Seth smirked, enjoying his preys pain, his Flaming blades were gone now, Seth held up his hands, and something strange happened, black strands began to lift from Yarha-Nage, up into Seth's palm, then swirled around just beneath his palms, as more and more were drawn from his foe, they began to form a dark gray orb, it appeared to be filled with a swirling mist, the last few slivers of black wound their way into the orb, this was literally Yarha-Nages magical essence, brought into the physical world, it was something rarely done, only possible when one is on the very edge of death, the crumpled man lying on the floor had a panicked look on his face, there was to be no recovery from what was about to happen, Seth moved his hands, still smirking cruelly, he picked up Yarha-Nages own black blade, circled around and lifted the blade high above his head, he pointed the tip straight down, lining it up, and after a moment, Seth plunged the long midnight blade straight down, piercing the orb and the scorers heart in one movement, blood ran out of the wound, the tip of the blade was stained instantly, a crimson stream flowed from Yarha-Nages chest to the cold ground, a great hissing noise echoed around, almost deafening, the orb became cold gray stone, it crept up and down the sword, turning it all into stone, Seth let go of the blade as its pommel changed, the stone worked its way down the blade and into Yarha-Nage himself, changing the wizard as well, and after just a few moments, the noise was gone, and in front of Seth, lying on the ground, was what could easily be mistaken for a statue of a man, his arms and heart pierced by two crystal shards and a sword, a look of agony and terror on his face, forever sealed in stone, and just like that, then man who had killed his apprentices family and friends was dead, killed by the hand of the one who swore to keep her safe, a promise made to an old friend was at long last fulfilled, Seth savored this for a moment, but he had little time, as the blackness around him began to dissolve, and, he was left standing in the castles courtyard, dead Orcs were all round, the castle was heavily damaged and much commotion was going on near him, on the other side of a crumbling wall, Seth could see a huge bronze shape hulking above the wall, Yarha-Nages statue was lying almost perfectly to be a centerpiece in the courtyard, but Seth had no time, he held out his hand, and blasted the wall away, instead of simply flying over it, he always liked making an entrance...
Sure enough, the entrance drew everyones attention, even the Colossus, but, something was wrong with the great beast, it was panting, and its bronze skin was melting away, leaving a sickening image, half if its skin had melted and fallen away, leaving its darker colored skeleton showing in places, it was a sickening sight, a side-effect of its summoners untimely death, but Seth was not phased, his eyes still glowed red as he stepped into the oval shaped arena, the Colossus was standing near the center, Orcs were piled around it, dead and mutilated bodies everywhere, and dotted around the large area were the other warriors, Blyclaaf, Niskar, Gildor and, still lying injured on the ground, Alana, but of course, in his altered state, Seth did not care about the others, he was only after the great hulking mass standing a hundred feet in front of him, he slowly raised up into the air, his cloak dangling behind him, the dark purple still visible, it began to blow back wards in the wind as Seth raised above the walls, coming level with where the beasts head should have been, it let out a muffled bellow and charged at Seth, raising its broadsword high, the huge blade came crashing down, but Seth had flown out of the way before it hit the floor, unleashing a huge blast of kinetic energy into the beasts back, it stumbled forward, a large dent in its back now, crashing through more walls, the castle was taking more punishment than anything, three or four more blasts later and a hole could be seen, straight through the beast, it seemed to be in pain, but the damage was not affecting the creature at all, with Yarha-Nage dead, the Colossus could not regenerate its damaged flesh, Seth was taking full advantage if that, but more for sport than anything, Seth gave it time to turn around, he hovered backward now, he was hovering at the other end of the arena now, the creature did not opt to charge again though, instead it reached down, and scooped up a handful of rubble, its great hands could hold enough to crush a large house though, after deliberating for a moment, it hurled the stone and bodies straight at Seth, Seth simply swung his arm out, and a tear was made in the air in front of him, the rubble was swallowed into the tear, and it closed, the another opened, spewing the rubble down onto the beast with as much force as it had been thrown with, large dents and cuts were made in the beast, the great wound in the sky was beginning to close now, swallowing the dark clouds that had come with the storm, the beast tried the same trick once more, this time it was a cluster of bodies that was thrown, Seth used a different trick this time, bolts of lightning stuck the bodies, sending them to the ground, something shiny flew from one of the bodies, and straight at Seth, as it spiraled closer Seth realized it was a Scythe, a huge one, like that of the specter of death, it was his Scythe...
It only took a moment for Seth to hold up his hand and catch his weapon, they were united again, and suddenly a huge flow of power transferred from Seth's body into his Scythe, Seth's thoughts normalized, the build up of energy in his body was rebalanced, and he could think properly again, he was shocked at the sight of the devastation laying in front of him, it only took him a second to survey the scene, instinctively he swooped down to the injured Alana, it was too confusing, like being thrown into a war with no information at all, apart from a few short flashed, last he knew he was standing by Alana in a sea of Orcs, now there was a melting Colossus, and everyone else seemed to have gone, the great beast saw Seth's moment of weakness and charged, but it stopped after a moment as another figure leaped between Seth and the beast, loud bursts of noise and flashes of light erupted, and the beasts skin was dotted with small holes, this new man looked different to everyone else, clad in dark clothes that fitted tightly but still looked tough, he stood strangely, with a black object that looked metal, he was shouting something and motioning for Seth to move, Seth did not question this man, there would be time for that later, he scooped Alana up and leaped backward, more flying than jumping, until he was a safe distance, he had promised to keep her safe after all, and he did not intend to go back on that, he placed her down on the very edge of the arena, for some reason, he didn't want to leave her, but he knew he had to fight that thing, this new man could not kill it alone, he stood up, and turned around, Seth looked back at her for a few seconds, before a great cry drew his attention back to the battle, Seth leaped up about fifty feet into the air, drawing his arm back he tossed a ball of fire at the beast, hitting the side of its faceless head and knocking it off balance, the strange man darted to the right as the beast swayed to the left, he rolled a small black object under the creatures leg, a moment later there was a great ball of fire that erupted from the black ball, and it was gone, it had torn away one of the beasts legs, bronze bone and veins protruded from the stump that was now its left leg, there was no blood, but the beast was clearly in great pain, it lunged at the stranger but missed, the creature was not really impeded by its missing appendage, it did not loose balance of fall, but the new man was about to be crushed as Seth landed ten feet to his right, the Colossus once again brought its sword down, only missing as Seth leaped at the stranger and took him out of harms way, in the commotion though, another warrior took his chance and Blyclaaf severed the other leg of the beast, it feel flat on its face, but it was still trying to kill, it reached one great arm out, but it could not grab any of the three, it began to drag itself along the ground, this time toward Alana, but before it had moved much farther, Seth had severed its arm, it could not move at all now, as it had to hold the great sword, it opted now to simply swing it wildly, hoping to hit somebody, but it never found a mark...
It continued to scream and flail as Seth finally put it out of its misery, he melted the body with a great blaze of fire, and all three warriors took turns to strike at its face until finally, it stopped moving, and died, the stranger and Blyclaaf took a time to catch their breaths, Seth had returned to his apprentice, exhausted and panting Seth stumbled the last few feet and dropped to his hands and knees next to her, the examined the wound, the black arrow was still sticking out of her, Seth steadied himself for a moment before grasping the end of it, Alana opened her eyes a little, she was clearly in pain, she seemed to be trying to speak, but couldn't, Seth closed his eyes, and muttered to Alana
"This is really going to hurt, I'm sorry, but It needs to be rmoved..."
It took only a second to take the arrow out, but the barbs on the arrowhead must have made it seem much longer for Seth's apprentice, Seth could do no more than press his cloak against the wound to stop the bleeding, with some luck it would stop soon, The Warlock heard shuffling footsteps behind him as Blyclaaf and the stranger ran over, they knelt down with Seth, looking at the wound, until the stranger spoke.
"My name is Lance Gideon, I am a Sergeant, and I think I can help stop this bleeding, if you'll let me"
Seth had no choice, so he leaned a little to the side, allowing Lance closer...
