*continued on from "pain's initiation"*
Pain, not allowed to use the castle grounds for training as he was not yet a member of the castle, decided to train in the forest. The wild animals and beasts would serve a descent target practice. Survival skills were also part of the training, as pain will not leave the forest until the tournament begins.
His first victim was a wolf which had caught the scent of a dead rabbit Pain left on the ground to lure animals. Pain walked out of the bushes to give the wolf a clear veiw of him. The wolf charged towards pain with obvious intentions. Pain used his teleport to move further away from the wolf, then Pain simply threw a few dark energy blasts and the poor thing got blown to bits.
Then he heard more movement in the bushes behind him. The figure stepped out of the bushes and said
"nice skills...wanna train together?"
Pain replied "......who are you? are you also competing in the tournament?"

My name is azaroth and i am competing in the tournement
*pain laughs* Why have i never heard of you before this time
Off in the distence laughter can be heard coming from the hall in the castle as everyone enjoys there meals
As azaroth steps out of the shadows he drags behind him the slaughtered carcass of a wild boar
Azoroth repeats what he has said to many who have seen him lurking around the castle i nor know were i am or why i'm here
why are you here slaugtering the good meat
pain replys with the most sinister grin azaroth had seen leaving azaroth uneasy I am here to train in solitude
with that said azaroth decided he did not want to be near pain when he was in the type of mood here

Pain lowered his head and replied
"You say you have no memory of why your here or what your doing? *sighs* You don't have to consider this as a bad thing, sometimes people are better of not knowing their past. I would like to forget mine...but this is useless banter. hmm, you seem to be keeping a distance from me...do I scare you?"
Azaroth didn't reply, but took pain's words to heart and left.
Pain went on hunting again, and once more ran into another interesting character...
"And who might you be?"

Pain gasped and replied
[glow=red,2,300]i have to train for the tortament, i must prove my ability to Seth before i can enter the castle. [/glow]
Then the two most unusuall pair of freind walked on.

Pain looked upon Rigors demonic face..
"Strange, a demon who wants to play his hand in the tournament. well, who will you be fighting in the first round then?"

The Demon sized up Pain, then answered
[glow=red,2,300]I am up against azaroth, he stood up to me when i was about to poor the blood of innoceince on the floor of the great hall, Back then i was still set on my Fathers intentions.[/glow]
Rigor Mortis took a breath then in a regreating voice he carried on.
[glow=red,2,300]Back then i wanted to cause pain, then i found myself lost between emotions. I saw the people of the castle making freinds, thats what i lack freindship, But now i have Mighty he calms me down[/glow]
Pain looked on at the Demon and knew that he shares the same feelings, two different races, evil and good come together they are not so different after all.

Pain see's the emotional scars that Rigor has, so similiar to his own. Although Rigor was a demon, Pain felt as if he could trust him. Pain then looks at Rigors pet...the wolf cub.
"That wolf seems familiar...hmm..."
Pain then reconizes the cub. It looks just like the wolf he killed.
"Where.....where did you find that wolf cub?

Rigor looked down at his wolf, then across to pain.
[glow=red,2,300]I found the wolf along side the docks, he looked as though he swam to the docks. He was very badly injured there was teeth marks around the wound he had in his side and a nother into his skull, i healed him thats when my Father disowned me and i came here for air.[/glow]
Pain looked upon Rigor's face with great remorse

Pain thinks for a little, and makes a reasonable assumption of wat happened. Pain had to tell Rigor about the cub.
"I want you to take good care of that wolf. I may have killed its parent. which would explain why it had bite marks. without its parent, it was a walking lunch for larger predators. Im surprised it managed to escape the forest and end up at the docks. This cub needs you right now. I know first hand how it feels to have your family torn away from you. keep him close, and you two will own eachothers trust"
Rigor thanked pain for the advice and started their training, also deciding not to hunt any more animals. instead they cut down trees and crafted targets out of wood, then hung them in trees, sat them on the ground etc. 40 targets were made. the objective was to destroy them all in a set time limit.
" ok Rigor, your turn first"

Rigor set his focuson the target.
Apon raising his dried blooded arm, the ground upon wich they were standing on started to shake. The target was then lauched in the air followed by a spike of ground. Rigor had used his earth morfing ability to send a spike through the target

"Impressive..."
Pain didn't know if he could top that, but he tried..
he saw a target in a tree and another on the ground...
"Time me for this, im ganna destroy them 2 in less then 2 seconds...start counting in 3..2..1..NOW"
pain quickly shot an energy blast at the one in the tree, before the energy blast actually struck the target, pian teleported to the other one and kicked the in 2, about 0.2 seconds after the energy blast struck the other target.
"Rigor, wats my time?"

Rigor sat there stunned,
[glow=red,2,300]Whoa that was...... hole e mollie how did you do that, well anyway now it is my turn.[/glow]
Rigor focused again, but this time on three targets, [glow=red,2,300] Watch this.[/glow]
Rigor raised is hand again and said [glow=red,2,300] Go Mighty.[/glow]
Rigor order Mighty to take out one wich was in a tree, before Mighty got to the tree Rigor also teleported. He teleported in between the one on the ground and one on a log and raised both his hands over his head.
Rigor summond four demon spirits, one destroed the one on the ground, one hit the one on the log and the other two went to the tree Mighty was in, Mighty hit the one in the tree and jumped out just before the two spirits knocked down the tree and calved 36 more targets.
Rigor walked up to Mighty, he opened his arm's and gave Mighty a big warm hug, then the two walked side by side back to Pain.
[glow=red,2,300]Well.....[/glow] boasted Rigor winking at Mighty.

"well, very good, I expect no less from a demon. hmm..well I tire now, we should rest. before we do, i want to know where you learnt to teleport. Did you study magic to?"
Rigor stood in silence.
"no matter. lets set up camp."
Rigor and Pain set up a normal looking camp. Rigor went for a walk somewhere in the direction of the ocean. all Rigor told pain was that Rigor and mighty the wolf cub are going fishing. Pain didn't mind being alone. It gave him time to reflect and think.
When Rigor got back they got some well deserved rest. Pain woke up in the middle of the night because of a strange noise. Mighty also woke up.
"Mighty, stay. Understand? STAY. Keep an eye on Rigor."
Leaving Rigor and Mighty, Pain went to investigate the noise. He found a goblin like creature with wings. It was crunching the bones of a villager and eating it's skin. The villager had a red sword in his hands. Once the goblin caught glimpse of Pain it fly towards him at great speed. Pain sighed at the goblins arrogance. he shot a dark energy blast at the goblin. suprisingly the goblin didn't feel it and kept flying towards pain. It would seem that the goblin has a resistance to magic.
Pain tried a different approach. He saw the villagers sword and teleported over to it and picked it up. the goblin turned around and flew towards Pain with more rage then earleir. Before it could reach pain, pain teleported right in front of the goblin and thrusted the sword in the goblins chest.
He then went to see if the villager was still alive.
the villager said with a shaky and hurt voice...
"that sword...uh...return it to...aarrgghh...my father...it's....his sword...for his..ugh...birthda...a...y.........."
after that the villager died in his hands. Pain picked up the body and went to the village. He would come back for Rigor after his task is done. Rigor woke up the next morning, noticing Pain was missing. Mighty seemed troubled, but Rigor thought nothing of it and went to find Pain in the forest.
*Rigor reply....but dont "find" me, just do something else until i come back*

*AFTER "Pain's new weapon" thread
Pain returned to the forest to continue the training for the tournament. Pain hoped Rigor was still here, but couldn't find him. So Pain went to train by himself again. he starting of by making a small shelter. He caught and ate some fish before falling asleep.
