Strategy, Gorge and Azaroth

[Gorge]

*It was early morning several days before the tournament and Gorge was eager to start practicing his methods. He woke in his basement hut and begun his training early. Starting on his levitation on his sun deck and then moving onto his running. Leaving his basement he headed for the forest. Running a few laps of the docks first. Gorge found an open patch of grass toward the middle of the forest. Focusing on a few patches of grass he managed to create a few sprouts simultaneously. Gorge sat and practiced for a few hours. He tried several things. First growing 3 or 4 trees at once, He was thinking that they might be used as a type of jail system to hold his opponent in one spot. it was rather difficult but he managed to grow 3 trees that were strong and thick. Gorge charged at them a few times with a fair speed. 2 of the trees withstood quite a few strong attacks, Gorge wasn't satisfied that these would hold someone as small as Alana or as giant and Bly.

*Then, Gorge tried growing thorn bushes, he thought he could use them to surround his opponent making them unable to run away. Gorge drew faces on the 2 trees that remained from his previous test. Surrounding the base in bushes was the easy part. The hardest part was making the bushes thorny and the speed in which he grew th plant Gorge thought it would take longer than the first test so he ran and got himself a drink. When Gorge returned he noticed that the bush had grown on its own. Gorge had a look of excitement on his face. He took this into consideration and thought to himself. If he was to lay this in strategic places around the arena it would grow by itself. He wouldn't have to use his energy to grow it and it would prevent the opponent from running. Gorge thought to himself then once again came up with flaws in his plane. the bushes wouldn't work against opponents that could fly such as Seth or Alana. Gorge took a nap and regained energy.

*As He woke he noticed his legs were itching, He tried to move them but he was unable to. Sitting upright he noticed that the bush had grown up the trees he created and outward. they had managed to make there way to Gorge and started to wrap up his legs. Gorge grabbed his Huree and began cutting the bush. he stood up and thought to himself. taking a few steps back he set the bushes alight. the bush burned quickly. As it burnt out he focused on the ground that was smoldering. Several seconds later he had managed to rejuvenated the grass to its former beauty. Thinking hard Gorge came up with yet another strategy. Gorge grew 2 more trees but they were smaller and in the shape of an upside down 'V' Standing back He fucused on the base of bothe trees and out of the ground shot several thick green vines. Climbing rapidly up the trunks the vines began to tighten. Gorge Grabbed his Gnoree and strted to cut the vines with the blade on the end. the vines were tough but they were cutting easily. Gorge stopped cutting and stepped back. He waited a few seconds and the vines began to rejuvenat and were just as tight and strong. Gorge looked at the Trunks and tried ripping them out of the ground with his mind. the trubks wouldn't budge. Gorge sat and rested and tried again. the trunks begun to move. he started cutting the vines and lifting ta the same time, the same way he would if he were trapped in them. the vines took alot to cut and to rip from the ground Gorge was extremely satistfied. just for fun and fucused on the ground nder him and grew a large thick tree. similar to those around him. He sat in the tree and gazed into the sky. Gorge was awoken suddely when he heard footsteps. Appering below the tree Gorge was sitting in was a man carrying a battle axe. whispering to himself spoke...

"I feel a strange presence here, theres magic everywhere bright grass and a weapon whoa I got to have a look at that"

*As the man spoke he walked over to where Gorge had left his Gnoree laying. Gorge silently moved around the tree so that the man couldnt se him if he were to look around. Knealing down the man veiwed Gorges Gnoree. Hiding so that the man wasn't able to hear him Gorge spoke to the man...

[glow=green,2,300]"Increadable really isnt it. I made it all myself. I use it to hold the magic I control.[/glow]

*Startled by Gorges voice the man stood up quickly with the Gnoree in hand. Spinnig around and looking for the origin of the voice the man stepped back. Gorge read the man and realised he wasn't there for any reason other than excercise. Still Gore wanted to test his new strategy.

"I wasn't going to steal it I was just looking at it. Please show yourself and face me."

*Gorge pondered for a minute. Moving himself to a potision where he could just see the mans feet.

[glow=green,2,300]"Why should i show myself to you now? your not going anywhere"[/glow]

*With these words vines shot out of the ground and trapped the man where he stood. The man struggled for a moment. The man grabbed his axe and swung furiously. Watching eagerly Gorge was pleased to see that the man wasn't going anywhere. Gorge Jumped form the tree and faced the man. Smiling softly he looked at the man...

[glow=green,2,300]"Have no fear I mean you know harm. I know you weren't going to steal this and I know that you sensed the magic. I am Gorge, i have been training here all day. This is the newest of my strategy. Please dont stuggle I shall remove the vines. With this Gorge claimed the energey from the vines and they fell to the ground. Outstretching His hand he Gorge greeted the man...[/glow]

Azaroth stared at gorge for what seemed hour till the anger he had calmed down and Azaroth poke
I came looking for you i heard you were training for your fight against Blyclef
Gorge used his powers to raise a stump from the ground, one for each of us and signaled he wanted Azaroth to sit
Then he spoke in a tired voice [glow=Green,2,300]Why have i been sort after? Is there something i am needed for at the castle[/glow]
Azaroth stood up looked around and then threw the battle Axe into the bushes hearing a squeal Azaroth new he had got what he needed he then asked gorge if he could light a fire for him Gorge lit up a magical fire and Azaroth dragged a wolf from the woods and threw on the fire and said I just getting hungry fighting off your man eating plants did you want some Not wanting to knock back Azaroth's hostility he agreed to eat some wolf[glow=Green,2,300]If its not moving ill eat it" Gorge said with a grin[/glow] With that said they sat there for hours enjoying the feast Then just as Azaroth was preparing to leave for the castle when azaroth remembered what he was ding here and then he started to speak O gorge Seth is on his way down here he said he would introduce me to you and ask you a Question

Almost immediately after these words had left him there came the crunching of leaves from behind them, and both heads snapped towards the noise, Gorge instinctively began growing a pair of thorny bushes in case the new arrival was hostile...

After several tense seconds the bushes were fully grown and blocking the path of whoever was heading towards them, until a flash of red lit the area and the bushes caught alight, in seconds they were reduced to two small piles of ash. Gorge and Azaroth both stood up, holding their weapons ready, but as they prepared to fight they were taken by surprise as a flash of purple streaked past them and their weapons flew high into the air, the purple streak came back, but Gorge was ready and two trees sprung out of the ground with vines quickly coiling around between them, the enemy was captured...

Gorge could hardly believe it when he saw that the man he had snared was actually Seth, the warlock had more a look of surprise than anything, before his eyes took on a red hue and the vines burned up. Seth dropped to the ground and raised his hands slightly, calling for the end of the small sparring session, the Wizard stood up properly now, Gorge and Azaroth walked over to him casually, they knew it was a friend. Gorge looked up, held out his hand and casually caught his Gnoree, Azaroth tried to do the same with his axe but missed terribly, in his own defence he did catch it on the first bounce...

I am impressed that you could grow something so quickly, Gorge.
But I ask you, in all honesty... how is a plant to stop the likes of me for more than a few moments?

Ah, but enough of that... on to the matter at hand, it looks as though you two have already met, I am here to ask you a favor Gorge, well... the favor is more to assist our new friend here. You see, I know that you have some knowledge of healing, and Azaroth here was interested in learning the ways of White magic from me... As you well know my powers do not include those of healing and such, so I have come to ask if you would take this one on as a student in my stead, for I owe him enough to make sure he at least learns the magic he seeks, if not from me then from somebody...

Seth stood still for a few seconds, staring at Gorge and waiting for a reply, all was quiet in the woods until Gorge spoke...[/i]

*Gorge stood with a smile on his face. To see the Mighty Seth Caught in a trap he set made his day. Hearing that his new friend wanted to learn healing magic made him curious. However what amused him more was the statement that Seth made about Plants and there strength, Hoping that talking about the favor Seth asked of him would distract Seth. Gorge looked at Seth and then looked down to the bottom of his robes. Quickly snapping his attention back at Seth he began to speak..

[glow=Green,2,300]"Healing magic huh? why would someone like you want healing magic? I now it is fantastic for fights and tournaments but what makes a person such as yourself think you can control it?[/glow]

*The whole time that he was talking vines were growing behind Seth. Looking over at Azaroth Gorge spoke to him mentally. Although Seth had a reasonably strong knowledge of Telepathy that he had learned, gorge was born with the natural ability, giving Gorge the advantage of having more knowledge of how to control it and the knowledge of how to block someone from using it.

*Gorge could feel that Seth was trying to hear what he was saying. Grinning at Az' Gorge turned to face Seth.

*Before Seth realized what Gorge Meant Vines Had attached to his legs and his sword was now hanging in front of him. Gorge looked over at Az' who had fallen over in laughter. Seth had a look of shock on his face but at the same time he seems approving. Gorge held his hand out in front of him and was pointing at the vines with his left hand and he was now holding Seth's incredibly heavy sword in his right hand. Seth looked down at the vines and a flash of red shot out, However this time his flames did nothing but go out. Seth looked amazed. looking up at Gorge Seth could see he was controlling the flames. Laughing softly Gorge released the vines and handed his sword back to Seth. Grinning slightly Seth began to speak..

hmm, A paltry trick at best, but had this been a real fight I would never have been still long enough for it. And I promise you that, had I been using my proper power, you would have no hope of snatching control of MY fire...

Seth took back his blade quickly and sheathed it, he then turned to walk away, leaving Gorge and Azaroth to begin training with healing magic, but the Warlock would not be upstaged so easily.

Before he had left the clearing entirely he formed a ball of flame in his right hand, stopped, and plunged his hand down into the soft earth, a few moments later Gorge began hopping on the spot as the ground beneath him heated up, and again Azaroth burst into laughter.

Seth found this amusing for a moment, but quickly tired of it, and walked on towards the other side of the clearing, when he finally reached it, Seth knelt down for a split second, and then jumped into the air, but unlike most people, he did not fall back to the earth, but instead flew up into the clouds, and out of sight...[/i]

Gorge or Azaroth continue

Azaroth Stood there watching Seth fly off with aww thinking to himself I wish i could fly
Then azaroth was wrapped in vines again but this time azaroth didn't fight them off he just stood captive laughing
What so funny i have you captured
Azaroth just stood up and shook the vines off and told gorge to stop going easy and put some effort in them
Gorge just smiled Azaroth then told gorge I am heading toward the village see what weapons they have for sale we will continue this Later

*Wathcing Azaroth walk off, Gorge continued to focus on his training. He wanted to focus on building rocks. Attempting to make a few rocks then bolders Gorge finally decided that it would be a good idea to get some rest. Growing some moss on the rocks to add to the seranity of his training area he headed for the Bar...
