Ah, after my long and tedious journey... Finally, I have found Ye, the root of every warriors glory. At last, I have found... the Esuane!
After the fate of dear Cyril, his death, ye were lost to all, until now, when ye doth belong to me!
With thine blade, the only that can harm that black wizard, I shall avenge my fallen comrad and destroy thee, Seth! * A sword, shining in the middle of the room, was seen from afar, as the 4 foot tall frog, Jym approached.
A small, stone room, built by the ancestors of time itself. Built merely as a tomb to conceil the weapon that the world could never control, the mighty sword, the Esuane!
Years had passed since the encounter the two comrads, Cyril and Jym had been victim to, the terrible confrontation of the black wizard Seth, who mutilated the great warrior Cyril, and cursed Jym, forcing him to take the shape of a frog.
Vowing revenge for the dark wizards actions, Jym set out on his journey to find the Esuane, and put an end to Seth's life, once and for all. His journey had brought him thus far, and now, it would soon be over. Or so he thought.
Slowly walking up to the Esuane, a sword that had been stuck, with its infinite power from 590 A.D. Until now 610 A.D. For 20 Years Jym's journey had taken him to places with horrors not a single soul could imagine, taken him to places that were non existent to people that did not know of them, had taken him to places so vile, that hell itself would not allow them.
And now, he had almost come to the end of his journey, Jym had finally found the only weapon on the face of the Earth, powerful enough to slay Seth.
The mere thought of this brought him to his knees in front of the Esuane, delaying his acceptance of the power and responsibilities to come.
Lifting himself from his feet, and standing up at his full hight of 4 foot 2 inches, he was able to look down at this sword, that had been embedded into the ground, on its own podium, with a light shining from heaven alluring down on it.
Wrapping one gloved hand around its handle, he could begin to feel the warmth of the sun in his hand, as he had spent days wandering the catacombs of this forsaken place. A weak smile creeping across his face as his grip tightened upon the Esuane, and he let his body become shrouded in the feeling of universal power, one that would corrupt most men, but fortunatly for the world, Jym was, a frog.
Snapping out of the little trance he had put himself in, he placed his other hand on the handle of the sword, and tightened his grip with all the strength he had left within him. Stepped forward, took a few short breaths to prepare himself for the unvailing of his revenge.
Opening his eyes again, and blinking wildly at the light illuminating the sword. Once gaining his focus, Jym moved a single step closed once again, so his outstretched arms rested bent by his sides. But suddenly, for no apparent reason, Jym took one of his hands off the Esuane, and fished around in his pocket, finding what he was looking for, he lifted his hand out again, and a small capsule could be seen in between his forfinger, and thumb, (or whatever kind of thumb frogs have anyway) a power capsule. Knowing that without this, being mal-nourished, he would not be able to lift the sword out of its podium.
Throwing this into his mouth and tilting his head back, swallowing, you could see the capsule as it slit down his throat, whilst swallowing the capsule, Jym placed his hand back on the handle of the sword. Almost instantly, this tiny frog began to bulk up a little, his muscles flexed (yes he has muscles) his chest expanded, and his legs bounced a little. With his new found power, he took one last breath, bent his legs, grasped the handle of the Esuane with all his might, and lifted!
Almost instantly, the sword came free, and the light expanded, and became stronger, blinding Jym in the process, as he fell back onto his behind.
What he did not see though, was that a small gateway had opened, and slowly was expanding towards him, closer and closer. A vortex of swirling blues, whites and purples engulfed this frog, and closed into nothing.
Not aware of anything that was going on, he began to feel a little strange, as if he were falling ever so slowly, and heard a voice inside his head:??: You Are Worthy. Prepare To Fight! * With these words swimming around in his head, a quiet chant could be heard somewhere in the distance, seemingly a band of people chanting something in latin.
Then after a few seconds and a loud THUMP!, Jym found himself on the ground once again, lying on his back.
Standing up, Jym looked around him, this certainly wasn't anywhere he had been before, and it was raining off and on, constantly, the bursts of rain were withing a feew seconds of each other.
Turning around, Jym was caught by surprise by a rather large building extending into the sky, with what seemed to be a dragon ornament on the top. Well, Jym certainly hoped it was a mere ornament, where he came from, anything could come to life.
A strangely aluring moon, a little larger and certainly more yellow than usual, beckoned him to enter.
Walking up to the large double oak doors in front of him, he attempted to lift the knockers, but failing to reach them, he decided to use his shield to knock. Not hearing a reply, he knocked again, louder this time, but still nothing, so he tried to open the door himself, he put his shoulder against the door, closing his eyes tightly he push with all of his little froggy might, and the door slowly swund open.
Stepping inside, just as the rain began again, a little heavier than before, but nothing special, exept this time, it did not stop as the huge door slowly swung shut again, leaving him in pitch darkness for a moment then all of a sudden, torches exploded into life on the walls, illuminating the huge stone halls, the door was shut firmly now, so there wasn't much chance of Jym going outside again.
Jym began to aimlessly wander around the corridors of this huge mansion, looking for whoever may own it, hoping he would be able to spend some time here, while he waits for the rain to stop, and just as he thought of the rain, it got heavier still. He looked out of a window that had been cut through the thick stone, and saw the clouds had no intentions of stopping soon, in fact they seemed darker than they were when he first got here, he also noticed the ocean, heaving utside of the window, and could not see any land at all, it seemed that the only bare land was the small space outside of the front doors, as if the castle had broken off from the mainland and was floating around a vast ocean, strange, he thought to himself.
Slowly getting tired from his days of walking around in the mines, and all the stairs he had climbed up and down. Finally he found a corridor, that seemed wider and higher than the others, and diddn't seem to have an end to it, and yet, he felt something...Pressuring him to walk down here, as if gravity itself centered at the end of this hall.
Seth slowly began walking down this corridor, always keeping on his guard. This walkway was dimly lit with flickering torches, and was strangly colder than the rest of the castle, but still, something told him he would find the answer to all his questions at the end of this road. Then all of a sudden, a door came into focus, and Jym put away his new-found blade, but kept his shield at the ready for anything that might jump out at him. Finally reaching the end of the corridor, he stood at the foot of a large oak door, similar to one of the ones at the entrance, but smaller, and with one main difference, this door had a name carved into it:
Seth
Jym extended a hand, but felt a powerful magic behind its mysteriousness.Mayhap I should leave this as it be... * He thought slowly to himself...

As Jym withdrew his hand from the handle of the door, he felt a strange power beyond it, the rain was very heavy now, almost deafening as the little frog closed his eyes, a dull headache overcoming him, a low rumbling was echoing through his mind now, as if someone was trying to overpower him from inside his own head...he tightened his closed eyes and pressed a hand on his forehead, he realized that his hand was still on the doorknob, as it suddenly started to become hot, there were too many things happening for Jym to stay focused, his head ached and his hand was almost burning as he dropped to his knees, overpowered as the pounding rain deafened his thoughts, the torches in their brackets on the walls were flickering now, all of a sudden they died, right as Jym finally fell to the ground, unconsious...a few moments later he opened his eyes suddenly in a daze he looked around, trying to remember...then it was as if a dark energy left him, his mind cleared and he regained concentration as he looked around the torches were burning brightly now, far brighter than when he first entered the castle...was something more than an old drafty castle at work here? a chill ran down his spine thinking of the magnitude of this...he slowly climbed to his feet, feeling fine now, he wondered what was going on...not many things can do this kind of thing and leave no lasting evidence, something dark was going on...and powerful... What be happening in this strange place... Jym slowly whispered to himself, thinking deeply The little frog sat up slowly, gathering his lost items as he did, he panicked slightly and his hands slid quickly around the floor, searching franticly for his medal that was seemingly gone, he finally found it lying under his cape, Jym picked it up and looked at it carefully, letting out a sigh of relief as he saw all the crystals in place and the medal unharmed, he stood up and hung the medal around his neck, tucking it in his shirt again as he checked all his possessions, they were all in place, his attention then snapped back to the mysterious door... and the rain began to get heavier again...Jym reached out to the door and grabbed the handle, closing his eyes as he realized what was about to happen but...nothing, no headache, no pounding rain or flickering torches, it was like a normal door all of a sudden as Jym pulled the door open, he slowly let go of the handle... SETH! A split second flash went through Jym's mind and he saw the face of Cyril for just a moment before opening his eyes to see the door, in front of him...closed again, as if it had taken everything back in time to before it was opened...growling slightly Jym said loudly: I tire of this game warlock! As Jym drew the Ensuane from its sheath he held it it two hands, the point of the blade was almost pressed against the door as a blinding light began to emanate from the sword, leaving the blade it slowly slid onto the door, covering the door in light before dissipated, and the door seemed different somehow, a chuckle was heard from inside the room, somehow Jym knew it was now safe and he reached out and grabbed the handle for a third time thinking "third time lucky...I hope" As he opened the door it swung open, revealing a shocking scene...
it was Seth, standing at what looked like a large window overlooking the ocean, there were no torches in this room, it was dark and very cold in here, Seth's cape was flowing out behind him somehow, as if caught in a non existent breeze, his long pale hair was blowing out behind him as well, it was a eerie sight, no pane of glass on the window, it was like an invisible force field over a hole in the stone, the raindrops were hitting the field and disappearing, not like hitting glass at all...Jym knew he didn't have time to admire the awe inspiring sight, he drew his sword as silently as he could before lifting it up...
After a moment, he leaped forward as fast as he could, straight at Seth's' back, he jumped up, lifting his blade high over his head right as Seth swung around at insane speed with a mad expression on his face he threw out a hand and sent a bolt of lightning straight at Glenn, hitting him in the chest and sending him flying back into the wall all before Jym's blade struck, it was over...Seth began to walk towards the crumpled form of Jym slowly, but Jym's eyes slowly opened and he looked up straight at Seth, instead of shock however...Seth actually grinned, and held out a hand to help Jym to his feet! Strength...courage...determination...luck...these are the four qualities you were just tested on...your strength let you draw the sword, your courage has been tested throughout the entire trip...your determination to enter my chamber was astounding...and your luck...surpasses any I have ever seen... L...luck? You see, as you well know, a direct hit in the chest with a bolt of lightning SHOULD have killed you...you might not yet know why It did not kill you, yes? It is very fortunate that you treasure that item so dearly...you know what I speak of... Jym slowly reached under his shirt and pulled out the Medal he had almost lost just moments before he was hit... But...how? Ah, the fates truly are on my side...to think that I was so close to death...Cyril, thou hath saved me...again...

* Hundreds of thoughts echoed through his mind, overlapping, and confusing Jym. Remembering the smile on Cyrils' face when they first set out on their expidition, the anger in his eyes when he first saw the black wizard, and then was slain. Well, now it was Jyms turn. He licked his bulbous eyes, and blinked a few times. Now back in focus again, he looked up at Seth and said:Thine horrors hath haunted me for years, years, have I waited for this confrontation, and now I have it. * But something told Jym this was not going to be it, that this was the start of something alot bigger, and this thought was confirmed by Seth once he next spoke

You fool, don't you see, everything that has happend in the past means nothing! do you know WHY you were brought here?...I diddn't think so, your here because you have proven yourself good enough to be here... the rain was still pounding in, a section of the wall infron of the window was wet, as though the force field had failed for a moment, but it was back now...Then Jym realised... Th...that was not a seal on the door...it was you...your magic, you were trying to deny my entrance to this room...and while you were concentrating on the door...the torches were flickering...y...you are controlling everything in this castle with your own magic, arent you Seth? Of course you are, and with your attension divided, you let down your guard, and the Ensuane stunned you, that is why I could enter after drawing the sword...of course... Heh...you are smarter than I had thought...yes, indeed I am controlling it all... but that will soon change, you may not know it yet, but all over time and space portals are opening, taking the best warriors I have seen and bringing them here, just like you...you see, this is no silly trap to destroy you, we are on an isolated island, nobody knows of this place, and I am thankful of that, because here, all different abilities and weapons from every pocket of time and space are being drawn to this spot, for a great fighting League, I am going to find the universes greatest warriors...isn't this grand? one I can harness some of my power I will be able to sustain the castle without having to concentrate, so I will be able to fight amongst you all at my full power...

* Still haveing slight difficulty understanding the concept of this, Jym began to realise Seth was not quite as meniacle as he seemed, he was actually very intellegent. But Jym had also found out, on the hard track of his life, to beware of patient men.
Finally actually beggining to understand why he was here, his head began to slowdown slightly, and was not quite as saw. Just as his head cleared however, he had yet another flashback, he saw Cyril, falling at the hands of Seth, and saw Cyrils face, moments before falling.
Now full of murderous rage once again, he readied his sword and shield, and prepared for combat, Seth had turned his back once again, and was peering through the magical force that was keeping him dry. Looking over the ocean, the storm waves hitting the rock walls, causing what seemed to be a geiser that came up, and under any other circumstance, would have come through the hole in the wall. This on top of the rain pelting at the window, with a warlock dry as the fire that burned in the torces, made this quite an amazing sight.
With his sword at the ready, Jym began to slowly move towards the man that had killed his only friend, Cyril. Now standing at the hem of the magicians cape, Jym looked up at this evil power, knowing that here tonight, one of them could very well end up dead.
Jym jumped, prepared for another slash, but right then, when Jym was flying through the air, the torches around the castle began to flicker, as if they were dying, and then THOOK a barrier emerged from the dark wizard. But instead of just emerging, it came out, with a great force behind it, sending itself, and Jym backwards into the wall on the otherside of the room.
Seth turned around once again, with a cruel smile on his face, as if trying to imply: "Stupid Fool!" As he turned around, his cape swung with him, Glenn noticed that it was not a non-existent breeze, but the wind through the hold behind Seth! it was amazing how Seth was denying the water passage, but allowing the wind to travel freely into the room, awe inspiring how comlext the spell that Seth maintained on the wall was.
You are not as smart as I would have thought you to be. Just because I am not at the complete of my power, does not mean I am pathetic, weak, and unprepared for an attack by my greatest foe.
No, this isn't true, I cannot give you all the credit, I have spent alot of time in several time era's and have made several foe's, perhaps they will join us too... * Jym tried to comprehend what Seth had just said, "Spent alot of time, in other Era's". Almost instantly, it all began to make sense, this is why no-one could find him, this is why everything returned to normal, and this is why, there was a compitition. Jym looked up at Seth, whilst he was still sprawled on his back against the wall and the floor. A look of understanding finally came across his face, as he said I know what thou be doing... Thou ist bringing all respectable fighters to a hidden island, in an attempt to battle against each other, telling them for glory, but in actual fact, you are wearing us down, so when we are most vunerable, you will kill us!

Seth could not belive Jyms ignorence,it should have been quite clear by now that he wasn't brought here to be harmed, but to fight, Seth knew that Jym would not fully trust him for a fair time, so he spoke
You really won't belive me, will you Jym? Well, I can do nothing more to convince you, and I have other things to attend to, it is late my small friend, and you must be deathly tired from your adventures, why don't you get some sleep? by morning a great feast will be prepared for whoever has arrived by then, would you like me to teleport you directly to your room?
Thou ist correct about this Seth, I must agree that my adventures have worn me severly, and I wouldst doubt I am capable of making a journy throughout the castle to find my room, so if thou wouldst be kind enough as to transport me to my room, I wouldst be grateful, perhaps we can continue this discussion in the morn, when we are both fed and watered suitably...
Seth simply grinned a little as Jym said this, it was clear that the little frog was finally gaining at least some trust in him, as Seth raised his arms and said some words in a deep voice, a bright light engulfed the little frog, as it disipated the frog was gone, Seth lowered his hands and swung around, taking one last look out of his window before spinning around again, with his cape flying out behing him as he did, and stalking out of the room, shutting the door behind him Seth then walked off to some unknown part of the castle, meanwhile, elsewhere in the castle, the little frog Jym appeared out of a burst of light, emerging infront of a brown wodden door with one word carved in it, almost like Seths door, but not as big, and made from a different wood, it was also lighter in color, and the single word read
Jym
Remembering the places he had been to during his journey, and thinking of all of the beatiful decorations and brightly lit halls and rooms, along with the fine silk curtains and other extravagent furnishings he had seen, Jym thought to himself "Seth really isn't one for fancy decorations, is he?" as Jym opened the door he was greeted with a fairly large room, filled with...nice things, Jym wouldnt have called them extravagent, but they certainly were nice, a large double bed covered with gold trimmed, red sheets and pillows, the fine framework could be seen, it was highly polished Willow , and looked beutifly inviting, Jym haddn't seen any kind of bed for weeks, let alone one this fine looking, he was very tempted to simply drop his things and jump on the bed to curl up and sleep for days, but he decided to look around the room more first.
It would seem I was wrong about Seth...
He thought as he walked around the room, seeing a large window in the center of the wall, with the same field over it that had been on Seths own window, he saw a fine, gold colored coat rack in one corner, as well as shelves and other things for little nick nacks and such, there was also a large table, and shelves for his weapons, a fire burned brightly, set inside a fine looking fireplace on the opposite wall to his bed, this room had around eight torches, and was very well lit, it had a warm and inviting feel to it as Jym walked around a little more, he saw a set of draws near his bed, with a silver bust on it, clearly meant for Jyms medal, it was as though Seth had planned out this room to meet every need the little frog had, it certainly was a nice place to be, some pictures of beutiful scenes hung on the walls and everything exept the silver bust seemed to shine golden in the torchlight, Jym was suddenly caught with a childish fear, one he haddn't felt for a long time as he realised he had left the door wide open he rushed over and shut it, locking the door tightly, Jym wondered why he had felt the urge to do that, but disregarded it as he slipped off his cape and hung it on the coat rack, he also sat the Ensuane on one of the shelves and placed his shield on a table near the door, he hung the key on a nail on the back of his door now as he walked around the room, placing all of his items in appropriate seeming spots, he was also trekking around carrying some little nick nacks, reminders of friends and such he had made, he placed these around the room on shelves and the like as he slipped off his armour and put it down on the large table, it would be ok there for one night, he thought as walked over to an open bowl, emptying the content of one of his pockets into the bowl, about twenty power capsules plopped into the bowl, he dropped his other capsules and snacks into some other bowls on the same shelves, things like some small berries dropped into one of the bowls, a few other capsules of different colors all fell into another bowl, they were not power capsules, but there werent as many, so Jym kept them all in one place, two or three apples fell into yet another bowl, and around two hundred tiny, candied flies fell into a final bowl, which he decided to move over and leave on the draws next to his bed, he then slipped off his shirt and placed it on the coat-rack as well, now wandering over to the bed some of the torches began to fade and Jym knew it was time for him to go to bed as the fire in the fireplace went out Jym took off his slightly singed medal and draped it around the neck of the bust before sliding under the covers of the bed and the rest of the torches went out as well, leaving the only light as moonlight streaming in through his window, the rain was only light now as Jyms eye lids bagan to shut slowly, a few thoughts crossed his mind, but the last thing he thought that night cancelled every other out,
In the morn, I shall eat and drink well, and then, I shall finish my conversation with Seth...
he thought slowly to himself before his mind finally blanked out, and the little frog drifted into sleep, with a big smile on his little froggy face...
..::End of roleplay, Nobody reply::..
