The cave walls were cold and damp, a drip of water sounded every now and then, several torches cast dim light around the docks, illuminating the cargo ship that was moored in the dock to the far left, there was an opening near the top of the Cave wall on the far side of the room, the ship creaked and bobbed gently on the water, it was amazing how such rigging and timber could fit into the seemingly enclosed dock...So this be the vessel that shall convoy us to the island? I suppose so... but we have no crew... We should not need a large crew for a relatively small ship, your magic should be able to handle most of the work, and I can do the rest... I guess so, let's go then... Seth and Jym boarded the ship and prepared for departure...Seth, how art we going to depart? It must be at least twenty feet to the opening up there... Fear not, the ship will make it out... As Seth finished this sentence, the ship lurched, Jym looked ready to fight as the great face made of water raised slowly out of the waters, it looked for a moment at the ship, and the two men on deck, before gently lifting them out of the cave, the creature set The ship down in the ocean just a Little way out of the cave, and They were on their way...

Ah Seth, why wouldst I doubt the method to your madness?" And with these words from Jym, Seth concealed the small grin that had made itself on one side of his face. The wave took the ship very tightly out the cave at a phenomenal speed, to Jym it made no sense that a ship this old would be able to withstand such the punishment of getting scratched across high pillars of rock, but Seth knew, apart from his own magic shielding the hull, the cave had kept this century old Bilander in near perfect condition. With a great splash Seth and Jym were on their way out across the open sea, heading towards the vibrant merchant city of Byzel. At one stage of the voyage Jym thought he saw another ship quite a distance away from them, and ran to the Aft to attempt to keep sight of them, but by the time he had run rather eratically to the Aft of the boat he had lost sight of the ship, but decided to stay at the edge, in search of other vessles. The day was perfect for sailing, not much like the castle, which seemed to always be either raining and dark, or hot and muggy. The sun was out, but the cool water splashing up from the ocean made a perfect balance. The clouds were minimal, just enough to texture the sky, giving it a slight fairytale "nothing will go wrong" look, and the wind was billowing out from behind them, accelerating the Bilander beyond its normal capabilities, but hey, we've got magic! Seth was extatic at the conditions as to which he was sailing, he always enjoyed the open ocean, he had spent many years training on this ship, out where no-one could find him, his power grew immensly during those times in which he learnt a basic ability to understand the tides, and even manipulate the water around him. He decided he would go over to Jym, who had been keeping to himself, with his head over the hull of the boat, staring at the water gushing by. When Seth got to Jym, he realised that Jym had not been staring at the water at all, he had taken off his armour, had one hand on his stomach, and the other gripped firmly to the boat, his eyes closed and his head over the edge for a very good reason. He was sea-sick. Jym?! You LIVE in water! I reside in a pond...

Luckily Jym could not see the smirk on Seths face as he realized his small friend was sea sick, Seth on the otherhand was enjoying the gentle rocking of the ship as it sped along to its destination, normally the trip would take a few days, but under these conditions, it would take considerably less time...
It's hard to believe, seeing you now, that you are indeed an amphibion... I wonder if you could keep up with the ship, should you fall in...
no, Seth... comeon... A few hours later... Jym had recovered nicely in a few hours, and was back to running randomly from one side of the ship to the other, looking for sails on the horizon. Seth stared straight forward, set on their destination This trip is turning out to be rather dull, would you not agree? Not at all... your erratic scurrying is quite entertaining, particularly when the ship sways and you almost fall... With that, they continued about their business, little as that was, for several more hours...
