Let's see... eye of Newt... urk... I'm glade these are plants, not animal parts... and a powdered Imp horn...
Seth was muttering to himself as he added the last few ingredients into the bubbling pot in front of him, he gave the mixture a slight stir, then lifted the pot up carefully, the smell was terrible, but the reward would be worth it, Seth carefully carried the pot up the concealed stairway and into his office, setting it down on his desk where the Clawed glove, Elven dagger and four large Topaz were arranged in an almost ceremonial manner
The air was cool, and the night was still, the only noises in the office were the steady bubbling of the mixture on Seth's desk, and the soft crashing of the waves outside... moonlight poured in from the large window, illuminating the scene, Seth placed the Dagger into the bubbling liquid, letting it fizz up, then die down again, when the bubbles died away, the thick, greenish liquid had turned to clear water, and the dagger was glowing a bright yellow...
To obtain that which you desire... something of equal value must be lost...
Galdian... Molecuar... Talius... Loricrom!

As Seth uttered these words the items on his desk raised up into the air, all glowing a brilliant Golden color, they spun clockwise, getting faster and faster before finally, they flew together, a brilliant flash of yellow light illuminated the room for a moment, before fading away to reveal not the items that were there a moment ago, but a beautiful sword wit a golden hilt, inlaid with the four Topaz, the jewels of Seth's people...
It's even more magnificent than I thought it would be... and now... for the final touch...
The dark wizard reached slowly toward the blade, clutching it carefully, he plucked it from the air, looking at the sword carefully, Seth was amazed with the fine craftsmanship of the sword he had just created... he swung it once, it was perfectly balanced... no matter what anyone said, magical crafting was far superior to anything that a hammer and anvil could create...
Seth strode toward the great window in his back wall, it was time to apply the final touch to his new blade... he stepped casually out of the window, supported by an invisible force the warlock walked out farther, he was at least ten feet from the window now, standing on nothing above the ocean, the night was dark, not a cloud in the sky, a cool breeze blew across Seth's face, he closed his eyes, holding the blade in front of him with both hands
Mighty Thundrake... Guardian of my people, I summon thee...
The sky grew darker, grey clouds stretched across the moon...
Lend me your power, enchant this Elven blade with a portion of your spirit...
Thunder rolled in the distance, a storm was quickly approaching...
I call you now, to imbune my blade with your ancient lightning...
The thunder grew louder, lightning began to strike the waters around Seth...
Steel... and Lightning... now let the two be combined... To create... STORMBLADE!
With these final words, Seth thrust the blade skyward as a huge bolt of lightning came crashing down from the heavens, striking the tip of the blade, the energy pulsed through the steel, it was not ordinary lightning, this was the energy of the guardian of the sky Elves... Thundrake... the bolt finally subsided, Seth drew his sword back toward himself, looking contently at the blade, there were still spurts of lightning rolling across the blade, the entire image gave an immense sense of power to the sword... the sky cleared almost as suddenly as they had darkened...
... Thundrake... I thank you...
Seth was answered with a clap of thunder, he took the time to swing his new Stormblade a few times without the restriction of walls, it was a spectacular sword, it sparkled even were there was no light, it was light enough to swing with respectable speed, yet heavy and sharp enough to slice an opponent in two with ease, the sword made a pleasing sound as it cut the air effortlessly, now and then there was a slight crackle as the electricity was still settling into the blade...
Finally, Seth decided to return to his office, the wind was picking up, and the warlock was a little cold, he slowly made his way back to his window, savoring the moment, when a screech shattered the silence, Seth turned his head in time to see a great Raven swoop down, it landed gracefully on his shoulder, and looked him straight in his eyes...
... Good evening, Raven... I have no food for you, and I do not keep a familiar, so I suggest you leave me...
The Raven did not move, but simply stared at Seth... The warlock chuckled softly
It seems I have found a bird who's will rivals my own... I've never desired a familiar... but there's something about you... I think I'll call you... Shade... What do you think?
The Bird flew into Seth's office and landed on his desk, it hopped around on one leg for a moment, before coming to a stop and looking at Seth again...
I'll take that as a yes... come then, I'll see if Bones has anything for a bird to eat... you look as if you have been on the wing for far too long...
Shade landed on Seth's shoulder again, Seth laid his new blade to rest on is desk, it still needed to cool down a little more, so the two of them set out for the bar, and Bones, to fetch some food for Seth's new friend...
