A Frog?

Alana was exploring thrugh the casle when all of a sudden, she spotted a....frog? She couldnt help but laugh, even though she came from an enchanted forest, she had never seen anything as hilarious as this. The frog seemed to be wearing a cape of some sort and armour, it was hopping towards her now she wondered wether to tak to it or attack it....

* Having gotten close enough to speak with Alana, Jym stood up on his back legs, and straightened his back, an act that seemed to startle Alana. After having taken a few more steps forward, he extended his hand out, and Alana and Jym both shook. Jym then said:
You need not be frightened. I am nothing stranger than the many other things you will encounter in this divine castle. I believe you are on a mission to find that ghoul, I believe it is thine best intrest for me to tell thee, that there is more than one.
On many an occasion I have heard the little devils scurrying about in the castle dungeon. I personally was able to slay one, while it was attempting to steal ale from the castle bar, I suggest you set an ensnaring trap there for them, before you begin your search.[/b]
* Alana still seemed a little dazed at the intelligence of this animal, however, was beginning to come of ease, after all, this certainly was not the most bizarre thing she had encountered in her time of training in the forest alone.

Alana was a little creeped by the frog, well, Jym. She had seen many wonderful, wierd and frightening things in her journeys but none quite measured up to this amazing frog.
So...Jym, how many of these Ghouls do you say yo have seen around? I may go and have a look around in the Dungeon and Bar as you say but i wil need some time to come up with some traps as is a bit more difficult to capture a Ghoul than just slaying one, but i will take your advice and create a ghoul capturing device.....
So Alana headed back off to her chamber, devising a design for her next mini-adventure in this giant Castle of Warriors as she has heard the other one call this place. Alana was wodering as she walked,"How did the frog get here, what is his purpose, well, why are we ALL here? What is ALL of our purpose?"
That thougt stayed on her mind while she was planning out where she would place her traps as her head slumped onto her deask and fell into a dreamless slumber.... [/b][/color] |

* Hours passed as Alana slept, this counted for nothing more than mere minutes however as Jym was heard rassping at the door.
For goodness sake elf, hurry the hell up, I have an item that may just prove useful to you with your ensnaring of the demonic ghouls
* With that, and a reluctant trudge to the door, Alana let Jym into her room. He seemed to be carrying something rather large, yet strangly enough, hard to see in his left hand. He set this down on Alana's bed, which gave an almighty creak, and slumped almost to the floor upon impact.
This is something you may be able to set as a trap to use. I aquired it on my adventures through the outskirts of what is now known as Bavaria, many many years ago.
Now, you might not be aware of this, but ghouls are very similar to sharks, they can smell blood from quite a distance, which is why you often see them dead in the kitchen freezers. Trying to get to the raw meat, fortunatly bones was clever enough to set a trip wire that locks the door when the ghouls walk in.
Wait...freezer?
Yes freezer. Seth has travelled far out into the ocean, collected a glacier from the polar caps, and brought it back to us, put it in a room, and put a spell on it, keeping it from ever freezing. Rather Genious if you ask me.
Anyway, ghouls are attracted to the scent of blood, so i suggest you go out, find some kind of wildlife, kill it, and use its corpse as bait, to lure out the first of the ghouls. From there, you can simply use the brain of a dead ghoul as bait.
*Alana seemed to flinch at the sound of this. Understanding what she must do, she bade goodbye to Jym, and let him out. After which she lay back down, on her bed this time, after moving the trap, which was quite difficult for her, so she just used a simple levitation spell. Then dozed off into a pleasent sleep.
Jym paced through the corridors, back to his room, and removed his armour, and his clothing. This was indeed one muscular frog. He then proceeded to explore some of the outsides of the castle. [/b][/center] |
