*This thread is continued on from pain's backstory*
After visiting his mum's house, Pain had to think of a way to redeem himself. He decided to join the castle order. Pain arranged a meeting with Seth.
"Seth, i want to join the castle to right the wrongs of my past. Is there anything i can do to prove my worth"

Seth stood quietly for a moment, staring intently at Pain, the young man looked as though he had suffered a great deal of pain, but he looked determined to redeem himself

OOC: Even though technically this is before the tournament, we know the results, so I'm posting this now
The tournament was over.
Pain's chance to prove himself against the others was passed.
The warrior now stood silently against a tree on the outskirts of town, his head storming with disappointment and anger at his loss...
The sun was sinking slowly along the horizon, casting a golden light across the grass, a cool sea breeze was blowing from the ocean, gently ruffling Pain's hair as it drifted by...
Some ten feet away, out of his sight a figure approached, his long purple cape flowing quietly in the breeze...
Pain... I saw your match, Jym is an incredible fighter, and you did very well against him... I would be glad to welcome you to the castle, your skills would benefit these people greatly...[/color]
Pain looked up slowly, and spoke...[/i]

"Im sorry I couldn't beat him, It's my fault I was too..."
Just then Pain broke from speech and looked down at the ground.
"Anyway...I lost, I couldn't land a single hit or even fight to my potential...why do you think I am worthy after such a loss?"
He looked back up into Seth's eyes, which were looking directly back with a hard stare, as if seeing something Pain himself couldn't. Pain stood, sullen and in silence. Finally Seth spoke...

Because you are still here... You did not run and hide, or seek revenge... You lasted longer than most against Jym... I can see great potential in you Pain, you just haven't reached it... If you remain here, and train yourself; mind and body, you will become very powerful... But it will take time...[/color] Seth closed his eyes for a few moments, looking peaceful as the sea breeze ran through his hair... Something is coming... Something important... I think you will have another chance to prove yourself very soon... But for now rest, your injuries were serious, and you are not yet at full strength again...After this Seth turned slowly and strode away, leaving his words swimming in Pain's mind; What was his potential?
